Association for Latvian Children with Movement Disabilities

Strategy 2024–2026

Our three-year development plan — how we envision the association's future and its main directions of work.

Strategic foundation

The association's strategy for 2024–2026 is built on many years of experience, the needs of families and changes in Latvian society towards an inclusive approach to children with motor disabilities.

The aim of the strategy is to strengthen the association's capacity, expand its range of services and build a sustainable support network for families throughout Latvia.

Four strategic directions

The key areas we are focusing our work on through to 2026.

Quality of services

Expand the range of rehabilitation services and introduce new therapy methods and technologies (the AMADEO robot, biofeedback).

Support for families

Build a more complete support system for families — from receiving a diagnosis to long-term rehabilitation and education.

Public education

Raise awareness of an inclusive society, children's rights and families' needs through the media, events and education programmes.

Sustainability and partnership

Develop financial sustainability and strengthen partnerships with municipalities, companies and international organisations.

Our goals by 2026

500+Families supported
15+New therapy programmes
100%Digitally available resources
